After receiving a degree in Arts followed by a degree in Law from the University of Sindh and an MBA from UT Austin, Mr. Nazir Ahmed Tunio began his professional career with various public and private sector organizations. He has served the Government of Sindh and Pakistan, the private sector and non-government organizations in Pakistan and abroad for the past 35 years in positions including Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Director, Manager. From time to time, he has been entrusted with the responsibility for leading development and execution of the long-term strategy of these organizations which include Henny’s private Limited, Block by Block and Mir Sourcing, Inc.

The organizations he serves including Akhuwat help create a peace of mind by helping navigate through everyday life scenarios and challenges faced by the marginalized communities specifically in areas of education and microfinance.
