Mr. Saleem Ahmad Ranjha completed his bachelors in history and politics from the University of Sargodha and a Masters in Public Administration from Punjab University. In 1984, he joined the CSS and has served in departments including Pakistan customs, Pakistan Inland Revenue Service, Ministry of Commerce, Trade Development Authority, and NAVTTC. He has been a part of Pakistan’s trade negotiation teams and was nominated as one of the 100 business leaders and change makers of Pakistan by Manager today at the CEO Summit Asia 2013 and 2014.
In addition, Mr. Ranjha has served multiple advisory roles on the boards of several organizations. His work in the field of education includes aiding the initiation of of Masters and BSc Programs in Agro-Business at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) along with his service to the Punjab Education Endowment Fund. He has taught in over 25 universities and training institutions and organized several international conferences and workshops and represented Pakistan on multiple occasions.
He is currently appointed as the Federal Secretary Benazir Income Support Program and is also on the board of Baluchistan’s largest school system in Public-Private partnership, Taleem Foundation. He is also spearheading rural development’s “Wan Miana Model” which includes interest-free microfinance, education, healthcare and is a proponent of E-learning, E-Agriculture for the people residing in rural areas.
