Mr. Khawar Rafique completed his graduation from Government College, Lahore and holds a diploma in business studies from Japan. Organizations he has chaired include the All Pakistan fan manufacturing association and the University of Health Sciences Punjab. He has also been on the board of Directors for the Punjab Industrial Estates and Development and Management Corporation. He has been a member of TEVTA and on the advisory council of the ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan as well as the Ex President of the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Rafique has previously been the Director of Rafiq Engineering Industries (PVT) ltd and now serves as Chief Executive of Rafiq Engineering Industries. He has been serving a vital role to Akhuwat as a board member and has been nominated as the Director of Engineering Development Board (Govt of Pakistan).
