EDUCATION:

Mr. Junaid Farid did his Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University before completing his MBA in Accounting & Finance from McMaster University. During his time in Canada, he worked as a Commercial strategy analyst at Bombardier conducting research and analysis on industry dynamics as well as mapping and comparing data to evaluate the success of the organization. He has also worked in the field of finance as a Financial Analyst for Reign of Peel, ON, and as an Equity Research Analyst for Al-Meezan Investments in Karachi.

Devoting his time to Akhuwat, he has worked as a Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships and International Marketing during which he led the initiation of projects including the Tourism Assistance Program (TAP) and Akhuwat Clothes Bank. Besides working with the provincial and federal government of Pakistan to increase outreach, Mr. Farid has also represented Akhuwat Internationally and has collaborated with academia from renowned universities including the University of Oxford to develop a new and innovative approach to product diversification within the microfinance industry.
